Ford ad pulled

By AP

UN-DATED – Ford of Canada has pulled an ad from newspapers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba after concerns it may promote vehicle theft. The full-page ad in a Winnipeg, Manitoba newspaper displays the rear bumper of a vehicle that sports a sticker that reads: "Drive it like you stole it." Winnipeg police spokesman Jeff Norman says the agency was concerned about the message the ads might send. Norman says police were alerted to the ads by members of the media. Ford motor company of Canada spokeswoman Gina Gehlert says the automaker regrets any concern the ads may have caused.
