UNDATED – Marquette has been named one of the top 20 towns in the country for hunters and anglers to live. The list was compiled by Outdoor Life Magazine, which used data on available sporting opportunities and quality of life from 200 towns. Marquette was 7th on the list, with more than 100 lakes within a half-hour drive of the city. Marquette is the only town in Michigan to make the list.
