DNR makes changes to youth fishing licenses

By Abbey Kwiatkowski

UN-DATED – The Department of Natural Resources has made changes to make purchasing a youth fishing license easier. The cost for youth licenses for anglers under the age of 17 is $2.00. In addition, the DNR will waive the parental signature requirement for youth fishing licenses. The DNR Sports card however, is still required and costs $1.00. Anyone interested in purchasing a license must have the child's first name and last name, full address, height, weight, gender and birth date.
