Houghton, MI – Michigan Technological University has been rated one of the best undergraduate institutions in the country. The Princeton Review's 2009 edition of The Best 368 Colleges lauded Tech for its library, computer facilities, career services, and athletic facilities.
The review gave the university a rating of 95 for fire safety, on a scale of 60 to 99. Tech received a "green" rating of 76 for its environmental practices, and it also earned an 83 on the "quality of life" rating. Students praised the school's recreational opportunities and rich social life.
Information in the review is based on a survey of 120,000 students attending the 368 colleges in the book.
