Fabulous Fall Refrain at Crystal Theatre

The Crystal Theatre

October brings a range of musical events to the Crystal Theatre as wide as the music of this country – from County Music’s icon Lee Greenwood to the music of American composers as far back as 1750.

The U.P.’s annual cross-genre music festival, Beethoven and Banjos, comes to Crystal Falls.

Sunday, October 6 - 2pm CDT.  2019 marks the fifth annual week-long collaboration between members of Decoda(Carnegie Hall's affiliate ensemble) and a folk ensemble creating and performing music together in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. "The music will be chosen and composed to be a direct celebration of the UP's landscape, culture, and heritage," says Beethoven and Banjos Artistic Director and UP native Evan Premo.  Musicians participating in the 2019 festival include Joshua Davis - guitar, David Kaplan – piano, Catherine Gregory - flute, Mary Bonhag – Soprano, Evan Premo – Double Bass. Admission for this event is “come as your – pay what you can.”
