A new ballet calls for goblins and fairies (dancers, acrobats, costumers and more)

There is a call for goblins and fairies in the Marquette area for a new ballet, called Faeries of the Night. Written and choreographed by Deborah Choszczyk (Director of Choreography and Instruction at Queen City Ballet Company in Marquette), this new ballet will debut during Art Week in June 2022. Auditions will be held Sunday, January 9th from 1-3pm at Kaufman Auditorium; all are welcome to audition.

We spoke with Deborah about the new work, including what inspired the ballet, and what talents from our community will be on display.
