Michigan gas prices down again

DEARBORN, MI— Gas prices in Michigan are down 6 cents compared to a week ago.

AAA Michigan says drivers are now paying an average of $3.19 per gallon for regular unleaded. That’s 22 cents less than this time last month, but still a $1.18 more than this time last year.

The most expensive gas price average was in the Marquette area, at $3.38 per gallon. The least expensive average was in Grand Rapids, at $3.04.

Motorists are paying an average of $47 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline, an increase of about $8 dollars from when prices were their highest last January.
