AVERT - Active Violence Emergency Response Training

AVERT - Active Violence Emergency Response Training

Is your organization trained to react in a life-threatening situation? When active threats or violence occurs, seconds count, and you can’t always wait for EMS to arrive. Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) enables your team to become immediate responders by combining Active Shooter and Stop the Bleed trainings into one program. Live scenario exercises and hands-on practice instill confidence in your team and gives them tools to respond. Participants will learn:

Warning signs & situational awareness
Defend and Attack & Escape and Evade
Equipping Your Space
Emergency Bleeding Control

This training meets occupational requirements as outlined by OSHA, and is excellent for public service employees, schools, banks and churches or anyone who interacts with the public in potentially threatening situations. Participants will receive a 2-year accredited certificate from the Health & Safety Institute/AVERT.
