Call for Art: North of the 45th 2026 Annual Upper Midwest Juried Exhibition

Shane McAdams and Shane Walsh are the 2026 jurors. Shane McAdams is an artist, writer, curator, and educator.
McAdams is a curator at Saint Kate in Milwaukee, WI, and a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
He currently writes for the Shepherd Express. Shane Walsh is a painter and educator. He teaches painting and drawing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. McAdams and Walsh are co-founders of the Door County Contemporary Art Fair. They both exhibit their artwork in galleries and museums nationwide and internationally.

Eligibility: Open to MI, MN, and WI residents, 18+, living north of the 45th parallel (up to 45.9°). Submissions: All entries must be submitted by creating an account at devos.slideroom.com. There is a $20 fee to submit 1-5 images; the juror will select specific artworks for the exhibition based on submissions. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Timeline (all dates are 2026):
March 16, 11:59 PM EST: Entries due
April 20: Artists notified
June 8: Artwork due at the museum*
June 19 - September 4: Exhibition dates
