The Lake Superior Art Association invites artists and art lovers to the eighth annual Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival June 27-29. After registering for the event, artists will be painting at various locations throughout Marquette Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on Saturday from 7:00 am until 4:30 pm. Spectators are welcome to watch the artists at work.
There will be a public reception and awards ceremony at the Presque Isle Pavilion on Saturday June 28 from 6:00pm until 8:30 pm. The public is invited to come to the reception and vote for the People's Choice Award. On Sunday June 29 9:30 am - 12:30 pm artists will gather at the Presque Isle Pavilion and the public will have an opportunity to socialize, view, and purchase paintings.
