A stroll through the beautiful park-like grounds of Lake View Cemetery near Calumet is a walk into Keweenaw history. From veterans of our nation's wars to victims of the Italian Hall Disaster, this one-mile walk along paved paths will introduce visitors to the layout and history of the cemetery and how its people have been remembered... and forgotten.
Tour numbers are limited to reduce the impact on the historic landscape. To make a reservation, email kewe_information@nps.gov or call (906) 483-3016 and leave a message. Include the number of people in your party and your contact information; reservations will be confirmed. This program will require about two hours to complete. Pets are not permitted.
