A Public Candidate Forum will be held for candidates running in the August 4th Primary Election for the Marquette County Commission: District 1 (Cody Mayer, Karl Numinen) and District 3 (Fred Benzie, Randy Ritari, Jenna Smith). The Forum will be held in the Marquette Charter Township Community Center, 1000 Commerce Dr., Marquette. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the Forum begins at 6:00 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of Marquette County will moderate the Forum. Each candidate will answer the same questions submitted by constituents. Questions may be combined or edited for clarity and pertinence. Email your questions for the candidates to lwvmqtco@gmail.com by Monday, July 6th or you can submit your question as a member of the audience. The audience may meet and speak with the candidates after the Forum. The Forum will be live streamed to the LWVMC YouTube Channel and recorded for later viewing.
