Public Forum on Sustainable Tourism
The Keweenaw Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will host a public forum at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, November 10, on sustainable tourism practices and impacts. Best practices will be discussed, and where applicable, local examples will be provided.
The presenter will be Mark Alan Rhodes II, assistant professor of geography in the Department of Social Sciences at Michigan Technological University. Rhodes earned his PhD and MA in Geography from Kent State University. His research interests include cultural sustainability and sustainable tourism.
