No drug prelim for Ishpeming woman

ISHPEMING, MI--   A preliminary hearing for an Ishpeming meth suspect was canceled Tuesday.

Tiffany Rushton, 26, was arrested in October following a drug bust at an apartment on East Euclid Street.  She’s charged with operating/maintaining a meth lab.

Rushton’s preliminary exam was dismissed because two key witnesses in the case could not appear.  Officials say she can be recharged at a later date.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
