Manistique mail carrier faces federal charges

GRAND RAPIDS, MI--   A former U.S. Postal Service carrier has been indicted in federal court for not delivering mail in Manistique. 

Sarah Jane Paradise is charged with two counts unlawfully destroying, detaining and delaying mail from March 2013 through March 2014.  Her route was City Route 1, which includes hundreds of homes in the middle of the city.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
