Peterson sentenced for Marquette Township break-ins

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Marquette Township man charged with breaking into several Trowbridge-area homes was sentenced Friday.

Eric Peterson, 26, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaking and entering a building with intent to commit larceny in March.  He reportedly took a bicycle and other items from an unoccupied home.

Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi gave Peterson between three and ten years in prison.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
