Cochran charged in Regan disappearance

CRYSTAL FALLS, MI--   An Indiana woman has been arraigned on charges in connection with the disappearance of an Iron River man. 

Kelly Cochran, 33, of Merrillville, IN is charged with homicide, second-degree home invasion, conspiracy to commit mutilation of a dead body, concealing the death of an individual, lying to a peace officer during a violent crime investigation, and accessory after the fact to a felony. 

Christopher Regan was reported missing in October of 2014. 

Cochran was recently extradited from Kentucky after her arrest by U.S. Marshals.

Cochran remains lodged in the Iron County Jail on a $5 million bond.  A probable cause hearing is set for May 31st, while a preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 6th.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
