CRYSTAL FALLS, MI (AP)--   An Indiana woman arrested in Kentucky is facing charges in the 2014 disappearance of a 53-year-old Iron River man.

Kelly Cochran, 33, of Merrillville, Indiana was arrested last month by U.S. Marshals and Kentucky State Police in Wingo, Kentucky on charges including homicide, concealing a death and conspiracy to mutilate a dead body.

Iron County Prosecutor Melissa Powell says Cochran was returned to Michigan this week. A court appearance is expected.

Christopher Karl Regan last was seen in Iron River in October 2014. His car was found in a park-and-ride lot in Iron County. Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo says a 2015 search at a park in the Iron County community of Caspian turned up "items of significance."
