MARQUETTE, MI--   Sentencing is set for Marquette woman who pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery after she jumped into someone else’s car and led police on a high-speed chase.

Cassie Croschere, 22, was allegedly at the scene of two drug overdoses at an Ishpeming house in August.  She got into the driver’s seat of another person’s vehicle, took off, then crashed the car on Westwood Drive.

Croschere entered a guilty plea to unarmed robbery last week.  She faces up to 15 years in prison.

Sentencing is set for November 4 in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
