Court dates set for men accused of breaking into Forsyth Township home

MARQUETTE, MI--   A father and son accused of breaking into a Gwinn residence are headed to court next month. 

In August Forsyth Township Police arrested Phillip Boyette, 47, and Phillip Boyette, Jr., 28,for the break-in of a home on Princeton Drive.  Both are charged with first-degree home invasion.  Boyette, Jr. is also charged with resisting and obstructing an officer.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for the older Boyette for October 1.  Boyette, Jr. will be arraigned in Marquette County Circuit Court October 5. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
