Man who rammed police car with stolen Jeep pleads

MARQUETTE, MI--   A homeless man, formerly of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, has pleaded guilty to stealing a Jeep and injuring an officer. 

Jordan Michael Gursky, 18, is accused of stealing the vehicle from Wisconsin in august and hitting a Negaunee squad car in an attempt to flee.

Gursky pleaded guilty Friday to resisting and obstructing an officer, causing injury and unlawful driving away of an automobile. 

Sentencing is set for November 9 in Marquette County Circuit Court. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
