IRON MOUNTAIN, MI-- The Iron Mountain Police Department is investigating a strong-armed robbery at a local motel.
Officers were called to the Super Eight Motel around 7:50 Monday night. They say an employee had just left the building carrying a soft case containing cash and checks. The employee was knocked to the ground by a male assailant, who grabbed the case and fled west.
The suspect is described as about 6’4” with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
