ISHPEMING, MI--   The Ishpeming Police Department continues to investigate a string of graffiti incidents on Saturday.

Officers say between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. several downtown businesses on Main Street were spray-painted with symbols and obscene language. The face and midsection of the Old Ish statue were spray-painted red.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call City Police at 486-4416.

The department is in the process of talking to all businesses affected by the incident. Officers are asking anyone with a camera attached to their building to review them and contact the department if anything was captured on video.
