Gwinn suspect arrested for sharing child porn

GWINN, MI--   A Gwinn man has been arrested by Michigan State Police in connection with child pornography charges.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation into peer-to-peer file sharing of child sexually abusive material. A search warrant was issued for the residence of 41-year-old Craig Hanninen.

He was arraigned Monday on 12 counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive activity, and 13 counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

Hanninen remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $260,000 bond, cash or surety.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
