Moore arrested for conspiracy to commit CSC

MARQUETTE, MI--   A former Negaunee man is jailed, following an investigation by the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

FBI agents in Philadelphia reached out to the task force for assistance. Officials identified Gerald Moore, 40, as a suspect. A search warrant of his home netted multiple internet-capable devices and evidence. Moore was arrested downstate where he had moved.

Moore is charged with conspiracy to commit criminal sexual conduct, using a computer to communicate with another to commit a crime, possession of child sexually abusive activity, and using a computer to commit a crime.

He remains jailed on a $250,000 bond, cash or surety.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
