UPSET nabs two Houghton County suspects

HOUGHTON COUNTY, MI--   Two Houghton County residents were arrested last Wednesday for selling drugs.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team say after a two-month investigation Antonine Wilson, 35, of Hancock was arrested for delivery of meth and delivery of heroin.

He remains lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, detectives and Michigan State Police from the Calumet Post arrested Amanda Rush, 34, of Houghton for delivery of oxycodone.

Her bond was set at $5,000.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
