PORTAGE TOWNSHIP-- The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a vehicle from the Palosaari Construction sand pit in Portage Township.
Deputies say someone took the truck Tuesday from the site off of Old Road. The vehicle is a black, single cab 1992 Chevy S-10. It does not have a license plate and the front window may be smashed out.
Anyone with information regarding the truck is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 482-0055 or 911.
