MENOMINEE, MI— A Menominee County man faces multiple charges related to child sexually abusive activity.
The Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says Aaron Kuchinka, 32, of Menominee is charged with three counts of 2nd-degree child abuse, one count of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, 34 counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and 35 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in 95-A District Court on Wednesday.
Kuchinka faces up to life in prison.
State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigation resulted in the seizure of multiple internet capable devices and evidence from his home. Reasonable suspicion for child abuse was established during the search of Kuchinka’s residence and confirmed after further investigation.
