ESCANABA, MI— Two Milwaukee residents were arrested Thursday for bringing drugs into Escanaba.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team was investigating the distribution of crack cocaine in the area. Detectives found several grams of packaged crack, money, electronic devices, and a handgun concealed on one of the suspects.

Jaclyn Snouwaert, 34, and Michael Rogers, 42, were arrested and lodged in the Delta County Jail on several charges, including delivery of crack cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon.

Both were arraigned Friday. Snouwaert’s bond was set at $75,000 dollars cash/surety and Rogers has no bond.
