Jeep stolen from, later found in, Calumet

CALUMET, MI— The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a Jeep in the Village of Calumet.

Saturday at 3 a.m. deputies received a report of a vehicle stolen from a parking lot on the 300 block of 5^th Street. It was taken sometime between 12:30 and 2:20 a.m.

Police found the 1985 CJ7 Jeep at 4:50 a.m. on Portland Street near 5^th Street.
