Delta County Commissioners receive threats through email

GLADSTONE, MI— Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post are investigating threats made against three Delta County commissioners.

On March 8, troopers received a complaint that the commissioners had received the threats via email. Detectives are actively involved in the investigation.

Officials say contrary to information circulating in the area, the FBI is not investigating the incident and no threats of terrorism have been made.

No suspect or victim information is being released.
