TROY, MI (AP)— Operations are back to normal at a major hospital in suburban Detroit after an employee was shot by a coworker in the parking garage Thursday.
The shooting set off a morning scramble at Corewell Health Beaumont in Troy. The suspect never entered the hospital and was arrested a few hours later, but it still was treated as an active shooter situation and caused a lockdown.
The 25-year-old victim is recovering after being shot in the arm.
Troy's police chief didn’t offer any details about a motive but said that "there was some kind of falling out recently.”
