Gas prices continue their descent

DEARBORN, MI (AP)--   AAA Michigan says gasoline prices have dropped about 2 cents a gallon in the last week.

The auto club says the average price per gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was $3.10 on Sunday. That's about 22 cents less than it was one year ago.

Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys fuel costs at 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily. It says the cheapest average price was $3.06 a gallon in the Detroit area. The most expensive price was about $3.19 a gallon in the Marquette area.
