ISHPEMING, MI— Charter Communications’ first high-definition Public, Educational and Government channel in the state is serving Ishpeming residents.
Following three years of planning and a soft launch in November, Channel 189 is fully operational.
Among other things, it will broadcast City Council meetings, inclement weather alerts, school updates, voter information, upcoming community events, residential information like the street cleaning schedule and garbage pickup, city-wide updates, and emergencies.
