UPDATE: Missing downstate woman last seen in Marquette

UPDATE, 10/6/21: In a Facebook post, Cristofori's parents say Bailey has been found safe and sound.

MARQUETTE, MI— Officials are looking for a missing downstate woman who may be in the U.P.

Bailey Cristofori, 25, of Waterford Township was last seen September 26th at the Marquette Food Co-op.

Township Police say she was driving a white, 2015 Jeep Cherokee with Michigan registration ECM3334.

Bailey is 5’2” and 115 pounds with long, blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a white poncho with a color pattern, gray sweatpants, and black, martial arts-style ankle boots.

Her family says Bailey is an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast.

Anyone with information regarding Cristofori’s whereabouts is asked to call their local police agency or Detective Harrison of the Waterford Township Police Department at 248-618-6054.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
