Marinette County man still missing

Marinette County Sheriff's Office

MARINETTE COUNTY, MI— Marinette County authorities continue to look for a missing man.

Theodore Egge, 35, was last seen walking southbound on Northway Drive from Benson Lake Road on January 13th, after asking for directions to Boat Landing 7 Road. They believe he walked into the woods or down a forest road.

A search was conducted on Monday the 16th that included law enforcement officers, members of the Athelstane Fire Department, Amberg Fire Department, Middle Inlet Fire Department, Wisconsin DNR and their drone, volunteers, K-9s, friends, and family members.

Egge doesn’t have a working cell phone and isn’t familiar with the area.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking property owners in the area to check their cabins and properties for any possible signs of Egge being present or passing through, and check any game or security cameras. Deputies also ask outdoor enthusiasts to be on the lookout while in wooded areas.

At this time there is no indication of foul play.

Anyone with information on Egge’s whereabouts is asked to call the Marinette County Sheriff's Office at 715-732-7627.
