Gov. Snyder on trade mission to Japan, Germany

LANSING, MI (AP)--   Fresh off his fifth trade trip to China, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder just left on a similar mission to Japan and Germany.  

Snyder left Wednesday afternoon on the investment and trade mission. He heads first to Japan where he is scheduled to speak on Monday at the 2015 Japan-Midwest U.S. Association Conference in Tokyo.

He then goes to Germany where he will go to Frankfurt for its 66th annual auto show.

The governor returns to Michigan on Sept. 17.
