Payment at new Downtown Marquette parking pay stations required Wednesday

MARQUETTE, MI— Payment for parking in Downtown Marquette will be required starting Wednesday.

New parking stations have been installed and signs have been put up reminding visitors to pay at a nearby pay station. Payments will be enforced Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at a rate of $1 per hour.

Drivers will pay at the nearest pay station to their vehicle with coins, credit cards, or the Passport Parking app. An option for 15 minutes of free parking will also be available. Motorists will need to use their license plate numbers to register.

Options for long-term and overnight parking passes are available at downtownmarquette.org/parking.
