Trust for Civic Life gives $300,000 to Partridge Creek Farm

IHSPEMING, MI— Ishpeming’s Partridge Creek Farm has received one of the first grants from a philanthropic partnership called the Trust for Civic Life.

The farm will get #300,000 over three years. Officials say Partridge Creek Farm will use the money to stabilize the organization over the next few years to ensure long-term sustainable growth and build a resilient local food system.

The Trust for Civic Life recently awarded $8 million to 20 groups as part of its goal to strengthen communities across rural America. Its first grants aim to support “civic hubs” that are reinventing local civic programs and initiatives to meet the changing needs of their communities.
