MARQUETTE, MI-- A 21-year veteran of the Marquette Mining Journal is headed to the Department of Natural Resources.
John Pepin is joining the DNR as deputy public information officer effective Monday. He’ll be based at the department’s Marquette office.
DNR Director Keith Creagh says Pepin has reported on a wide range of topics, including hunting and fishing, tourism and nature, national forests, state parks, and agriculture. Creagh says Pepin will be an asset in getting residents and visitors excited about Michigan’s natural resources.
