Marquette DDA branding proposal available for review

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Downtown Development Authority has released a draft brand proposal for public comment.

The new branding concept was created by Arnett, Muldrow and Associates following several visits to the downtown district, interviews with residents, business owners, and other stakeholders, and a community-wide survey.

Officials say the branding takes into account the area’s history, spirit of the community, and unique places in Marquette’s downtown district. It aims to create a unifying theme to bring together all locations and events that are managed under the DDA umbrella.

The draft brand is available for review and comment on the Marquette DDA website through Friday.

Once adopted, the brand will be fully implemented early next year.
