An interview with the artist in advance of her exhibit May 12th

A local Marquette artist wants to improve the world with her colorful, abstract art.

The art of Sarah Still is up this May at Wintergreen Hill Gallery and Gifts, located on North Third Street in Marquette. Her work is colorful and abstract art that makes its way to the canvas with traditional and non-conforming means, including using cake decorating tools to apply paint and other textures. The pictures' creation are inspired by the natural world (including our environment and animals) with a focus on making the world a better and more colorful place.
