A conversation with Cindy and Dale Wedig

Graci Gallery in Marquette welcomes the married couple Cindy and Dale Wedig with their joint exhibition this July.

Their exhibition will display two sides of art; metal works and painting. Cindy's background is in ceramics, with a wide range of functional pottery items. She works in other mediums, such as felt and oil/cold wax. Dale works with metals, including copper raising, steel forging, and various casting methods. Both artists have ties to Northern Michigan University; Cindy graduated from NMU with a Bachelor of Fine Art, and Dale is a Professor of Art and Design. The couple shares a home in Trenary, where they spend their time working on their respective mediums and enjoying the woods and Whitefish River.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
