The Big Bay Stewardship Council will host the annual Fall Fest on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the newly renovated Draver Park. The family-friendly event draws more than a thousand attendees each year and features live music, a classic car show, local food vendors, artisan booths, and a variety of children’s activities, including crafts, bounce houses, and pie-eating contests.
This year’s festival highlights new amenities at Draver Park made possible through Powell Township’s Spark grant renovations. Updates include a year-round bathroom facility adjacent to the Big Bay Pathway trailhead, offering a much-needed recreational resource for the community.
The Stewardship Council views Fall Fest as more than a seasonal celebration. It serves as an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to connect, reflect on the area’s natural and cultural heritage, and consider the future vitality of Big Bay.
