Active shooter training being held at Delta County Airport

ESCANABA, MI-- The Delta County Airport is holding an active shooter drill Wednesday.

The facility will be closed between 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for the training.

County, Enterprise, TSA, Delta Airlines employees, and the veteran’s service officer will take part in the drill. The public is being asked to stay away from the airport until the training is complete.

Officials say no flights will be disrupted.
