MARQUETTE, MI-- Democratic candidate Gary Peters is swinging through the Upper Peninsula in his campaign for the U.S. Senate.
Peters stopped at the Super 8 motel in Houghton Saturday for a meet-and-greet with residents.
He continues his tour Monday morning in Marquette, where he’ll hold a small business owners and entrepreneurs roundtable at Donckers beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Then it’s off to Escanaba and Bay de Noc Community College. Peters is participating in another meet-and-greet at 12:30 p.m. at the Heirman University Center.
Peters is running against Republican candidate and former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land.
