MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A hydraulic spill restricted travel on US-41 in Marquette Township Monday morning.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched around 9 a.m. to the intersection of County Road 492 for a large hydraulic fluid leak. Deputies say an Oberstar employee was the driver responsible for the spill.
Travel on US-41 was restricted for several hours while crews cleaned and contained the spill.
The Marquette Township Fire Department and Michigan State Police assisted at the scene.
