Interview with Mary Beth Coyne, Marquette-Alger RESA, Build Up MI

Build Up Michigan

All children grow and develop at different rates. But, most will reach several key milestones between the ages of 3 and 5. Preschoolers not meeting milestones or struggling to learn may need additional help to prepare for kindergarten. That's where Build Up Michigan can help.

Public Radio 90's Kurt Hauswirth spoke with Mary Beth Coyne, an occupational therapist for the Marquette-Alger RESA. She spoke with Kurt about the importance of developmental milestones and special education supports available to preschoolers in our region.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
