Mackinac County B&E suspect apprehended

ST. IGNACE TOWNSHIP, MI--   Michigan State Police have arrested a man for breaking into the Moose Lodge in St. Ignace Township. 

Troopers were able to identify a suspect and later found him near the venue. Police also identified items suspected of being stolen from the scene.

A 54-year-old St. Ignace man was arrested and lodged in the Mackinac County Jail pending his arraignment.

Troopers were assisted by the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Department.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
