MARINETTE, WI-- One person died in a house fire in Marinette on Saturday.
City firefighters were dispatched to a structure at 1215 Main Street and found it engulfed. Once the building was evacuated firefighters were able to get in and extinguish the fire. They found a body inside.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
